Our mission is to provide financial support for water safety equipment and education for families enrolled in swim lessons and non-profit groups in central North Carolina.
Everyone should have the opportunity to participate in water safety lessons. By providing scholarships and grants to people in our community who need it, we feel we are doing our part in reducing the drowning statistics for Central North Carolina. Our foundation, based in North Carolina, provides scholarships for water safety lessons in partnership with local swim schools. We also provide grant opportunities for water safety education and activities for Central North Carolina.
Scholarships
The CNCSF scholarship program provides partial scholarships for students taking water safety lessons with our local participating schools. Scholarship guidelines follow the free/reduced lunch guidelines used in schools.
Grants
The CNCSF provides grants for water safety education and events for programs residing in Wake County and adjacent counties. Grants can be submitted anytime and will be voted upon at the next monthly foundation meetings.
