The CNCSF provides grants for water safety education and events for programs residing in Wake County and adjacent counties. For 2020, grants will range from $250-$500. Grants can be submitted anytime and will be voted upon at the next monthly foundation meetings. Grantees will be notified via email following the board meeting and funded within 7 business following approval.
To Apply:
To submit a grant, you’ll need:
- A letter outlining your water safety education or event and it’s desired outcome/impact
- Contact information for the person responsible for implementing the program
- A budget
- A list of community partners, if any, that you’ll be seeking support, either in-kind or monetarily
Rules and Regulations:
- Submitting a post-event synopsis of impact/outcome of the event within 30 days of the event/program
- A detailed list of how the grant money was utilized
- Agreeing to use outcome story on CNCSF marketing materials
